Responsible Growth
Growth should make East Gwillimbury better - not simply bigger. As our community continues to grow, we need thoughtful planning that protects the qualities that make people proud to call East Gwillimbury home. New development should be supported by the roads, infrastructure, parks, schools, recreation, local businesses and community services residents need. At the same time, we must protect our green spaces, agricultural lands and natural heritage for future generations. I support balanced, sustainable growth that respects existing neighbourhoods, welcomes new families and businesses, and ensures that the cost of growth does not unfairly fall on existing taxpayers.
Reliable Services
A growing community needs municipal services that grow with it. Residents should be able to rely on safe roads, responsive emergency services, well-maintained parks and trails, recreation opportunities, efficient Town services and infrastructure that works. Good municipal government is not only about announcing new projects—it is about taking care of what we already have, planning ahead and making responsible decisions with taxpayers’ money. I want Ward 1 residents to feel confident that when our community grows, the services they depend on will remain reliable, accessible and responsive to their changing needs.
Community Voice
A Town That Listens
Local government works best when residents feel heard, not just informed. Communication between the Town and the people of East Gwillimbury should be clear, timely, respectful and genuinely two-way. Residents should have meaningful opportunities to provide input before important decisions are made, particularly when those decisions affect their neighbourhoods, taxes, traffic, development or quality of life. As a Councillor, I want to be visible and accessible: listening at the door, meeting residents in the community, responding to concerns and explaining what is happening at Town Hall in plain language. You should never have to wonder whether your Councillor knows what matters to your neighbourhood.

We will implement a phased development plan that matches population growth with infrastructure expansion. My focus is on maintaining the unique character of East Gwillimbury while ensuring modern transit, sewage, and utility systems support every new resident without overextending current services.

Reliable Services & Community Safety
Enhancing local fire, police, and emergency services through increased funding and optimized resource allocation. Our action plan includes building a new community safety hub and improving local medical response times to ensure every neighbourhood stays safe and healthy.
